I would like to tell you about the wonderful job our friends at SOS children’s Villages are doing. I personally love their compassion and ability to focus on the root of the solution by teaching a new generation skills and trades that will enable these communities to create sustainability for the future. It is a much needed piece of the puzzle that has been missing from all the aid and supply being shipped currently. Please take a moment to see what they are doing now. Here is a brief story from SOS to enjoy.

The father of the seven Cussucala children had been killed in the Angolan civil war and the family was in despair. SOS Children’s Villages stepped in to help. Staff from the SOS Family Strengthening Program taught this family to grow their own crops and provided the children with clothing and medical care so that they could attend school. The family is now eating nutritious meals and the children are thriving
