SOS Children’s Villages is calling for help in Haiti.

Just this morning we received an email from Heather at SOS Children’s villages. Long story short, things are bad and they really need help. Below we have posted the email in its entirety for you to read. The Greener Diamond has received funds from MiaDonna&Co. and we have already donated what we can. If there is anything that you can spare we urge you to do the same. Little amounts from lots of sources add up fast.

Things have gotten worse.

Our people on the ground are telling us that children are at the greatest risk of dying due to lack of water and the shortage of medical care and medical supplies.

MiaDonna December 09′ sales are up  61%  compared to Dec. 08′.

We are very excited to start of the new year and a new engagement season. Be sure to visit back and have a look at our new arrivals, the great things we are doing both internally and to our product line to become even greener and keep an eye out on The Greener Diamond. We are very close to completing our first big project working with Youth Action International and Johnny Littlefield from Extreme Makeover Home Edition of rehabilitating an abandoned diamond mine in Sierra Leone by employing former child soldiers to farm in new sustainable rice fields.

MiaDonna Diamond Hybrid® Antique Engagement Ring. The O’Hara

The O’Hara Antique Engagement Ring pictured here was created in Eco friendly recycled 14K white gold. The center stone is a 2 carat  Asscher cut MiaDonna Diamond Hybrid®. The O’Hara Engagement Ring comes with .65 carats accenting diamonds that run the full length of the ring. However, this O’Hara was customized to only allow for accenting diamonds and antiquing towards the top of the piece. The matching Wedding band can also be created to finish the Wedding Ring set.
