We had another sold out event yesterday! “Movies with a Mission“, an event benefiting the Union Gospel Mission in Portland, Or. Presented by MiaDonna, 105.1 the Buzz and Cinetopia, you could join Nelson, Terry and Nicolle Oct. 13, 2008 to see a great new movie release, eat four star award winning cuisine from Vinotopia, get to know your favorite Portland Morning show, and help out those in need. Darius Rucker lead singer for “Hootie and the Blowfish” for the March of Dimes
Tuesday, September 30
MiaDonna and Co. hosted a private concert with Darius Rucker, formerly of Hootie and the Blowfish, where he performed his new country hit song “Don’t think I Don’t Think About It”. The event was on Oct. 22, 2008 and hosted by 99.5 The Wolf at the Abernethy Center in Portland, Oregon.
All the proceeds from the event where donated to the March of Dimes.

Fancy Pink Three Stone Engagement Ring to honor Breast Cancer Awarness month.

Sooner or later it seems that Cancer enters all our lives. As some of you may know our CEO and founder Anna-Mieke Anderson lost her mother to cancer at only 16 years of age. Cancer awareness and raising funds for cancer will always be a part of our company and our lives.
Here is a tribute to all of us that have lost someone to cancer. This beautiful Threestone Engagement Ring holds a 1.5 carat D color center stone and 2 X 1 carat Pink MiaDonna Simulated Diamond Hybrids. The ring will be donated to a valentines day fund raiser coming up that will benefit the Children’s Cancer Association.

Valentines Day for the Childrens Cancer Association (CCA) Fundraiser

MiaDonna donated a set of 3 carat Simulated Diamond Hybrid earrings to the 2nd Annual 105.1 The Buzz “Early” Valentine’s Day – 28-hour radio-thon, Feb. 8 6AM through Feb. 9 10AM. Entercom’s Nelson & Terry show offered listeners the chance to order personalized valentines or bid on incredible auction items, all to benefit Children’s Cancer Association (CCA).
We were very happy when our 3 carat total weight Simulated Diamond earrings ended up selling for $1,700 (even out selling an autographed GOO GOO Dolls guitar). 100% of the proceeds went to the CCA.
The DJ’s Nelson, Terry and Nicole Camarata hosted the event and stayed on air for over 24 hours. The event raised nearly $600,000! An amazing amount and we’re thrilled to have been a part of it.
