MiaDonna® and The Greener Diamond photo shoot: Behind the Scenes

We recently spent some time in New York City where we met up with Greener Diamond endorser and international supermodel Nnenna Agba. Celebrity photographer Keith Major, most famous for his work with Beyonce, Sean Combs, Tyra Banks, Lauren Hill, Iman, Spike Lee and many more, did a fantastic job photographing Nnenna in her MiaDonna jewelry. Nenna’s  makeup and styling was done beautifully by Daryon Haylock who was also at the shoot.

 Here are a few of the finished photos we will be using in future marketing campaigns and advertisements.

These are some additional behind the scenes photo’s taken buy our lovely friend Selena Moshel. Selena also traveled with us to Africa to visit the 100 acre Greener Diamond Farm, that was paid for by proceeds from the sales of MiaDonna’s® eco-friendly fine jewelery.

Come see the MiaDonna line of “GREEN” eco friendly jewelry in person. We will be participating in an event held by Costco to benefit the Doernbecher’s Children’s Hospital and support local business. We have worked with Doernbecher’s many times in the past and are very excited to be able to participate again. On Friday, May 15th 2009 we will have a booth set up at the Aloha, Oregon Costco for our local supporters to come and see the MiaDonna Simulated Diamond Hybrid in person. MiaDonna & Co. is headed back to the worlds largest jewelers convention, the JCK Las Vegas

MiaDonna & Company will join the leading jewelers from around the globe at the jewelery industry’s premier buying event, The JCK Las Vegas. MiaDonna will see the latest in fashion, design and diamond science. While in Las Vegas we will meet with the worlds largest growers of Man made diamonds and  lab created gems as well as discuss new styles and fashion trends with other leading designers in the industry. Our focus for the event is to seek out the hottest styles and newest technology’s. Attending the JCK is an honor for MiaDonna & Co. and we are very proud to qualify for acceptance for the second year in a row.

The Third Annual Nicolle Shops Portland party is all over. We had an amazing time and it was great seeing everyone at the event. A special thanks to Nicolle for her generosity and support. Ducati’s and Diamonds PARTY with Fox Shopping expert Nicole Camarata

Third Annual Nicolle Shops Portland Party 2009. MiaDonna & Company has come on as the lead sponsor of the event. For those of you that don’t know we have been friends with Nicolle for almost two years now and she is a very delightful person that actually bought The Madelyn on TV during our segment on FOX’s BETTER TV. Of course there is going to be an exciting give away and members of the MiaDonna team will be on hand to answer all of your questions about our lab created diamonds. We will also have plenty of samples at the event to be viewed.

The 3rd annual Nicolle Shops Portland Party is coming the evening of Saturday February 21st, 2009.  Last year seemed hard to beat, but this year EVERYONE is VIP…baby!

The fashion show is full of local designers, the coveted swag bags go to the first hundred through the door, the full bar is hosted, it’s catered in class by the Palomino restaurant in the Pearl, shopping, a silent auction, and plenty of other surprises.  The Nicolle Shops Portland Party celebrates local business and the fashionable people that make it all possible.  I have done over 150 shopping reports in the last year and this event will honor the most memorable.  These parties always prove to be the who’s who of fun and exciting people and we hope to see you there!

2nd Annual Fundraiser “Valentines Day for the CCA” Childrens Cancer Association

We teamed back up with local Dj’s Terry and Nelson from the 105.1 the buzz morning show. Once again Terry and Nelson stayed on air for over 28 hours auctioning off items donated to raise funds for the Childrens Cancer Association.

This year we donated a MiaDonna 3.5 tcw Three stone Engagement Ring that sells for $2,200.00 on the MiaDonna store front. The ring ended up going to John Livermoore of Portland Oregon who paid $2,500.00 and is giving the ring to his wife. We would like to thank John for his contribution to the CCA.

It was an amazing year with lots of heart felt stories. All of us here at MiaDonna would like to send a special thanks to Terry and Nelson for doing this. It puts our lives back into perspective and helps an organization developed to increase the quality of life and support for those who have to battle the terrible disease of Cancer.

The fund raiser ended up raising $263,000 for the CCA. During the event a customer called in and spoke freely about MiaDonna and our hybrid diamond simulant.
