Do you want to design your own Engagement Ring? At MiaDonna® we make it a fun and easy process for you to custom make the ring of your dreams! Here is one of our latest custom engagement rings designed together by the groom and bride along with the process involved to bring their vision to life.

The first step is sending us imagery or a detailed description of the design you would like us to help you custom make. Initially Henry (the groom) sent us imagery of two rings they liked, each with a different detail they wanted to combine into one ring. They loved the micropavé halo from one ring and the micorpavé band from another, so we combined the design features from the two rings into this CAD design.

Upon receiving his CAD imagery, Henry replied to us requesting a minor adjustment to the shape of the halo. They had imagined their finished ring with the corners of the halo rounded more into a cushion shape. This will help compliment the round center stone but not take away from the different shape of the halo itself.

After our fantastic CAD artist made the adjustment we sent Henry this updated CAD rendering.

Needless to say Henry LOVED it! It was exactly what they had been dreaming about. After receiving their custom ring Henry sent us this lovely note:

“Just wanted to to let you know that I have received the ring, and it is very beautiful. I proposed earlier this week, and my girlfriend (her name is Julie, and she is now my fiancée) really loves it. Thank you for being so helpful;  you definitely made this experience a great success for me.”

Here is the finished ring: Crafted in recycled 18K white gold with a cushion style halo embracing the 2.75 carat Round Brilliant MiaDonna Diamond Hybrid® center with 0.74 carats of recycled micropavé set diamonds accenting the shank and halo. Stunning!

I wanted to thank you for all the help…

My fiancé, Noraini, is currently studying in Australia and we had planned to meet in Indonesia on the 29th June-10th July for holidays. I wanted to propose during the trip but then I decided to exchange the ring for the smaller gem. I realised that the new one would probably not be delivered before my departure but thought getting the right ring was more important.

Anyway, half way throughout the trip I ask a friend, in Singapore, if he could fly over to Bali (Indonesia) with the ring. I still wasn’t sure when the ring would be in Singapore so he booked his fight for the 9th July – Noraini and I  leave on the 10th. If this didn’t work, I could at least tell myself that I tried all I could to make it happen.

So when you mailed we were both on edge because we still didn’t know if it would reach in time. FedEx delivered on the 8th afternoon. My friend picked it up that night and took the morning flight the next day. I met him and then whisked Noraini to a nice cliff (see background of first picture) where I proposed… and she said yes. This ring is perfect for us.

MiaDonna® and The Greener Diamond photo shoot: Behind the Scenes

We recently spent some time in New York City where we met up with Greener Diamond endorser and international supermodel Nnenna Agba. Celebrity photographer Keith Major, most famous for his work with Beyonce, Sean Combs, Tyra Banks, Lauren Hill, Iman, Spike Lee and many more, did a fantastic job photographing Nnenna in her MiaDonna jewelry. Nenna’s  makeup and styling was done beautifully by Daryon Haylock who was also at the shoot.

 Here are a few of the finished photos we will be using in future marketing campaigns and advertisements.

These are some additional behind the scenes photo’s taken buy our lovely friend Selena Moshel. Selena also traveled with us to Africa to visit the 100 acre Greener Diamond Farm, that was paid for by proceeds from the sales of MiaDonna’s® eco-friendly fine jewelery.

Our wonderful friend Chris, whom designed this beautiful ring, finally popped the question and has been nice enough to share some of their special day with us. Hi Nicole!

It’s Chris, I know it has been a while since we last spoke, but I
wanted to give you the good news and let you know that I proposed just a
couple of weeks ago on July 27th and she said yes! She absolutely is in
love with the ring! I attached some pictures of her and I with the ring. I
also made a custom engagement box specifically for the ring and I attached
pictures of that as well…

My friends and family love the ring and wanted all the info on the
company, so I’ve given them the MiaDonna website. Now a couple of my
buddies are planning on doing their own custom engagement rings…

MiaDonna Diamond Hybrid® Eco-Friendly Engagement Ring the Patricia
